An evening of TWO one-act plays presented by the Company Players class under the direction of Ryan Stadler.
The Candidate by Brent Holland is the first of two thrillers. "Four people wake up in a room with no memory of who they are or how they got there—and no way out. As they’re put through a series of increasingly dangerous trials, they start to realize they’re actually part of a secret interview process" (playscripts.com)"
The second feature, The New Margo by Stephen Gregg has an ending that is sure to shock you. "Margo didn't come back to the dorm last night. But of the five friends who went off to college together, only Delta seems worried about it. Finally, Margo arrives, but she's been made over: stylish new glasses, a new hairstyle and a whole new attitude. There's just one problem: Margo isn't Margo. As Delta frantically tries to convince her friends that this Margo is a fake, she finds herself locked in a battle of wits with the imposter" (dramaticpublishing.com).
The director has rated this show PG-8th grade for mature themes.
The running time for the evening is 90 minutes with a short intermission.
